Airport:

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is ~25 minutes from downtown Vancouver and easily accessible via taxi, Uber, or Skytrain. We typically Uber to and from since there's no need for a car downtown.

Location

Downtown Vancouver and North Vancouver each have great options. With the welcome party downtown and the wedding in North Vancouver, it's up to you! There's a "sea bus" (large water taxi/small ferry) terminal on both sides, each walkable to hotels in either area and our events. It's safe, clean, and <10 minute ride.

Hotels

Downtown:

- Fairmont Pacific Rim ($800CAD/night): Where we are staying. It's the nicest hotel we've ever been to and has been rated as one of the best in the entire country. If you're looking for a luxurious, modern hotel on the water, it's worth the splurge. We recommend a harbour or partial harbour view room to watch the sea planes take off. Call and ask for an early bird discount for 10% off. You can also stack this with another 10% off my joining their ALL rewards (free).

- Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Vancouver ($450CAD/night)

North Vancouver:

Our venue is in the Shipyards so any hotels near there are extremely walkable.

- Pinnacle at the Pier ($500CAD/night)

- Lonsdale Quay Hotel ($338CAD/night)

Airbnb/VRBO

You are also welcome to reserve your own accommodations through Airbnb, though these are fairly limited given short-term rental restrictions in BC. If you've found a spot and want a second set of eyes on the location, feel free to text us! Most everywhere is nice except for downtown (east Gastown/Chinatown) on or near East Hastings.

Areas worth looking at: Lonsdale (North Vancouver), Yaletown (Downtown).
